Born in 1982 Carsten made his first step into music with simply mixing vinyl records at the age of 12. Resulting to become a DJ, Radio Host, Record Label Owner with international artists and producer for electronic music before starting composing for Film/TV and Media.

Music and moments captured in moving pictures were always a big fascinate and inspareable for Carsten. His musical influences are wide ranged from Björk over Vangelis to Depeche Mode, Nirvana, Aphex Twin or Angelo Badalamenti. These cited inspirers might be a direct explanation for his lust to experiment within his music productions.

His music is played around the globe e.g. on BBC Radio One or NTS as well renowned institutions and clubs. Also collaborations with well established vocalists, composers and producers mark his way to enrich his knowledge and feeling for sound and music.

Carsten is the founder of BONDS an A/V project for silent films which will be premiered live in 2022. Together with international renowned artists, silent films created by pioneers of film in the beginning of the 20th century will be transformed into our time by giving a new interpretation and soul of music to picture.
